These are various plugins designed for e-commerce. Developed for use by laypeople and with a short lifespan.
- OW adminbar labels shortener – at the time, sites with many plugins added many links to the top admin bar and the plugins that shortened links were leaving something to be desired, causing even more bugs. This plugin solved that.
- OW ALD add-on for Brazilian checkout fields – There was a time when people were sending products from China and the ALD and BCF plugins were not compatible and did not insert the house number. It was not the developer's main focus to fix this, even though the orders had to be returned and caused losses. So it was a temporary fix. Today, if I'm not mistaken, the plugin has even changed its name.
- OW Maintenance page add-on – at the time of the Starlight plugin name transition, it became bugged and its main competitor Maintenance Mode was also bugged and many of the others did not have basic options like editing with the site closed, things like that. So it was necessary to create a plugin for this.
- OW Product Random Sort – There were plugins at the time that allowed random sorting, but they weighed heavily on performance. A very lightweight plugin was created just for this.
- OW Product Reorder tabs – at the time there was no plugin that organized the plugins satisfactorily and was compatible with the plugins on this site. So it was necessary to make a compatible one.
- OW SEO for image upload – This plugin added names, file names, alt attributes, all automatically when uploading the image. It’s not perfect, but it was better than the technologies of the time.
- OW Switch to Product Search – Some themes have post search instead of product search. This allows you to change it. Currently, themes already have this by default.
Many of these plugins are no longer needed because they have already developed the solutions. And others I couldn't mention due to privacy issues. But this is just one of the sites that ObaWP worked on and is now deactivated.
